Pablo is a Group Manager at Microsoft. He runs a project focused on delivering tools and services for scientific and technical publishing, with a particular interest on the transition from print to electronic and web based content, and its implications for collaboration, search, and content discovery in the future.
Previously, Pablo was a Group Program Manager in the Windows Presentation Foundation ("Avalon") team, being part of the inception of this effort. The responsibilities of his team included the integration of graphics, media, imaging, and text in this new Windows platform, as well as providing the base framework services for WPF, development of Vista’s Desktop Window Manager and other Windows Vista features, and support for key Win32 components such as User, GDI, and GDI+.
Previously, Pablo played key roles in the release of several versions of Internet Explorer, and has several years of industry experience in 3D graphics and multimedia, both at Microsoft Corporation, Apple Computer, and Intergraph Corporation.
Pablo received a Master’s degree from the University of Florida and a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University, both in Electrical Engineering.
